I Don’t Have Time
There are churches full of discouraged Christians all across this county, all across this state, all across this world. What discouraged them? They started sowing out of time.
I want you to know that there are times where if you aren’t sowing in the right season, it will eventually come back to haunt you. Satan will do everything in his power to get you in a place out of season and out of time. If he can, you will reap nothing. If he can get you to go to somebody’s house to witness to him out of time, you’ll win nobody. People’s hearts arrive at a particular time, and when God sends you, that’s when you go. You don’t wait. This is the way God operates…God is not an idiot! What Satan will attempt to do is wear you out. You’ll say, “Man, I didn’t get a chance to go yesterday, but I went today and it didn’t do me any good.” Why? Because Satan got you so busy to keep you from being there in a proper time.
I want you sowing into other people’s lives. Sacrifice comes before the blessing. You can’t wait for the blessing and then sacrifice. God spoke to my son-in-law one time and told him to give $500 to a ministry and Jarrett choked. The previous week was the worst one he’d had at work. But sometimes God has to do what He’s got to do! About two weeks later, God speaks to him again but this time he didn’t give $500…he gave $600 to the youth ministry. The following week, in the mail, there was a check for money the insurance company owed him and he got all that money back.
Satan, in all his wisdom, has only to get you to the place where you say “I’m tired of it!” Anywhere Satan can get his nose in your business, he will get in your business. He will always attack you where you are most vulnerable.
Remember what Nehemiah said when he was building the wall. He said, “I need to get some men in there to hold up the breach, to fill in the holes.” It works like this. If all the men were warriors and standing there with swords, no one was going to penetrate the wall or attack the armed men from the back. But if there was a hole open, just a small one, the enemy could get in and get every one of them.
In a lot of ministries in a lot of churches today, there are too many holes in the wall! There aren’t enough prayers going up, not enough seeking God, not enough believing in the Lord, not enough burning the midnight oil in study of His Word. And Satan’s sneaking in the door and stabbing people in the back. He’ll find a way in every time.
