I Don’t Have Time
He’s going to tempt you in what he knows you are ready to do, willing to
do. It may be that he sneaks in a hole of gossip. It may be that he sneaks in a hole of lust. It may be that he finds a hole of greed. He finds a place to penetrate a hole in your life and when he does, everyone is at risk. That’s why the necessity of a prayed-up church, casting down imaginations and bringing everything into the obedience of God! The words “cast down” mean to demolish, to tear apart.
Because the weapons we’re fighting with are not carnal, most of the damage done to the Body of Christ is done by the Body of Christ! You can call it Satan if you want to, but the truth is that you could have kept your mouth shut. You didn’t have to say that, you didn’t have to go there. Say that the devil is trying to destroy the church, and the devil might well be. He’s trying to destroy the entire church, the worldwide church. But there are a lot of churches that don’t allow that! They are prayed up and understand God.
But sometimes, if the body isn’t prayed up, Satan begins to wear out the saints until they get to the place where they have walked and walked and walked until they feel like they’re the last person standing. They get to the place where they think they’re the only one praying or believing and they start getting tired. They wonder, if they’re the only one in the fight, why bother? Might as well give up like everybody else.
I’m going to tell you that one will put 1,000 to flight, two will put 10,000 to flight! Don’t think for one minute that a child of God doesn’t have enough power to stand against all the wiles of devil. Don’t tell me you can’t do it, don’t tell me you can’t fight it!
The knowledge of God says that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. The knowledge of God says we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who loved us and gave himself for us. The knowledge of God says you are the head and not the tail, you are above and not beneath. You’re blessed in the city, you’re blessed in the country. Your storehouses are blessed, your cupboards are not bare. That’s the knowledge of God!
The knowledge of Satan says you’re broke. The knowledge of God says you own it all. The world says you can’t make your bills, God says the battle’s not yours. The world says you can’t get him sober, God says there’s nothing impossible with Me. With men it’s impossible but with God all things are possible. You tell me you can’t get a drug addict straight. No, you don’t leave it in the hands of the doctors, you lay it at the feet of Jehovah saying, “God, I’ve got to give this child to You.”
