Get Your Praise On!!! (continued)
Let me tell you something the church don't sing for 15 minutes for you to come in and get your seat. That's not what that is and if you think that your completely off your rocker. We don't come in here and worship the lord so you can find a seat. we come in here and worship the Lord so we can fix a place and set a place through our praise and through Our worship where the God that created all of the world can come in and dwell in our presence. The God that we love and serve we create an environment and open up an environment so the king of kings and Lord Of Lords the king of glory can come sit in our midst Like I said at the 8:30 service...come here Kenneth cross your arms real good and make that face that I have seen some folks in here make before...lol. you can go into a church and you worship the Lord and praise the Lord you are saying Lord I am offering you a platform to sit in, Come sit in my life Jesus. Come get involved in who I am and don't wait 'till you get to church to do it. Start worshiping and praising the Lord before you ever come in the door so when you get here in the midst of God in the midst of Gods people the power and presence of god are here and you've already established a place for him to sit in your life so you've already cut your slice of the pie before you ever walked through the door. This is why if you don't walk in the door praised up with your praise on this is why you have some folk one guy can be siting here and another sitting here and the music starts and the one that's praised up starts dancing in his seat are you with me this guy here can't stand it then pretty soon he is up and really getting his praise on and the other guy still isn't phased by it. This is why they can sit in the same service the same God serving same church at the same time and one guy not being effected by it and somebody else going stock wild crazy he had his praise on when he walked in the door and when the music started and the power of the Lord How great is our God started pumping in his heart he already had his place set up are you hearing me? You see you get your praise on before you get to church cause if you wait 'till you get to church your probably too late and you sit through that whole service wondering what all them folks seen in that and all them folks that seen in that are wondering what he is doing still sitting there. Are you with me Do you understand what I am saying? are you following along the word says you are to offer a sacrifice of praise you see when I offer him a sacrifice of praise then I come in here I am already ready from the time the first note hits I am gettin' it I don't care what they think I was tore up before I ever walked through he door I was tore up before I got here I was tore up in the shower this morning I was jumping up and down so hard kicked the shampoo bottle over and made a bubble bath in the bottom of my shower this morning but I was worshiping God I was ready I got my praise on I made sure I had it on before I came in here Our shower was deep in bubble bath you would've thought the dog was in there. What a wonderful God...You can do that with shampoo too especially that good shampoo Mrs Lynn likes she says a little dab will do it you can drop a bunch of it in the shower...now I can tell the story. If you get a bunch of it in the bottom of the shower it makes all kinds of soap suds That's why all that soap was in there this morning Mrs Lynn I got my praise on.. I got it on before I came in here tonight I told my wife I said I gotta go over to the church and do some things I came in here and the Kids were in here doin' drama and I thought Oh what a blessing it is to see our kids doing that and I went somewhere and I said Lord I thank you Lord I thank you for what's going on in the church. I walked out of my office and I came in here and Larry was back there and he said Pastor I wanna tell you something I don't know If I can tell you this without breaking down but I looked out across the great crowd that was here this morning and I saw what God is doing and he said I was so blessed and overwhelmed by it I want you to know he walked in here with the spirit of praise had his praise on before he ever came in here. I want you to realize that Gods doing a great work in the church and a great work in this ministry come in here with your praise on Be ready Hey listen people gonna hate you for it David's own wife despised him because he was so crazy He was dancing wildly before the Lord. He had his dance on he was shouting blow the trumpet...oh my gosh they played music in the church Listen here someone was laying down on it he'd take 6 steps and offer a sacrifice to God Watch this ..1,2,3,4,5,6 stop he went from Obededom's house all the way to Jerusalem 6 steps at a time and he sacrificed before the Lord. Don't you know that the power and presence of God had filled the holy city of Jerusalem when David had such a desire in his heart to go find the presence of God God blessed him and his wife hated him for it she despised him for it she despised him in her heart..people are gonna hate you for wild dancing..all this goin on jirating in the church their just goin' on oughta be ashamed shaking and goin' on like that oughta be ashamed! ya'll know what I am saying some of ya'll have heard this here...lol... it ain't nothing new to you..lol call it jirating poor Elvis he must have learned it in a Holy Rollin church that's all I can say cause they were shakin' and jirating long before Elvis came along..I want you to know this When you come in the house of God you put your praise on before you get here. David didn't wait 'till he got to Jerusalem to worship he was shouting running and dancing every step of the way when he got the the power and the glory of the Lord filled the place Am I making any sense to you at all? God says, you know if they'd just worship me if they'd just love me. They can't even think of what I would do for'em That's what he said... If they'd just love me they can't even imagine what I would do for 'em it don't even cross their minds what I would and will do for'em. Man I love the Lord. Don't you love the Lord I am grateful for all that he is doing.
I'll close with this a lady by the name of Becky Fender a pastors wife, she kept noticing that her eye was swelling up didn't know what it was but it started pushing her eye out 'till it was almost bulged out of the socket she went to the doctor about it and there was a malignant tumor in the back of her eye it was 2 weeks before they could do the surgery they were gonna have to take her eye out take the tumor out and give her a glass eye The lord spoke to her Becky Fender is a very famous worship artist. she said when she left the doctors office the Lord told her Becky I want you to go down to your church and I want you to worship that away so she said she went down to the church turned on music with other folk singing she got right up in the speaker of it she said she just stood there and cried and worshiped God. a week later she had to go back to the doctor for pre-op stuff they checked her out and the tumor was still there she went back to the church it was Sunday night church she went back up in front of that speaker she was worshiping the Lord and she said God I'll praise this thing away I'll worship this thing away and she said I am quoting...she said she felt in her eye whatever that was leave her socket but her eye was still bulged out so it hadn't left but she knew in her spirit that it was gone. So she went down the day of surgery and she told the doctor before you do this I want you to do an x-ray on my eye because I felt God take this thing away Sunday night at church It's obvious it hasn't been taken away Becky your eye is about to come out of its socket it's obvious that its still there she said well I wanna trust what the Lord told me and before you do anything here I want you to do a scan on my eye because I think you'll find you are wrong He said I'll do it it's gonna delay the surgery but I'll do it she said that's alright how long is it gonna delay he said 2 more weeks she said ok then whatever it takes he said but by then your eye will be completely out nothing there to hold it it will fall out she said that's alright so he goes back there he scans her socket and he says you will just never believe it that tumor that was there there is a hole where that tumor was and its like your eye is sitting on air and the tumor is gone she said I told you it was gone her eye was still sitting out there I told you it was gone I knew it was gone at worship service Sunday night I told you it was gone now I don't have anymore time to talk I have to run out here and tell somebody else I told you it was gone She started worshiping all the way back to the church by this time its Wednesday night she came running in the church she said GLORY TO GOD MY TUMOR IS GONE AND AT THAT TIME HER EYE SUNK RIGHT BACK INTO THE SOCKET and I saw her the other day on television and her eyes are just as fine as mine and yours I am telling you you get your praise on and God will get involved in your life you offer him a praise offer him a place to sit give him a throne to sit on buddy he will come in and he will tear up hell just to get to you.
